Distinguished Mortara VERITAS Resting ECG Interpretation Algorithm
Widely recognized interpretive algorithm uses gender specific, adult and pediatric criteria to provide a silent second opinion for resting ECG interpretation. Displays hook-up confirmation which includes detection of lead reversals.
Electronic protected health information (ePHI) data is secured with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) integration which enables user authentication and authorization. Additionally, bidirectional network encryption ensures protection of sensitive ePHI in ECGs, orders and patient lists.
Choice of Wireless or Traditional ECG Acquisition
The ELI 280 offers a choice of either the innovative WAM wireless acquisition module or the AM12 acquisition module. Both include replaceable lead wires, lead fail indicator, and remote control with buttons for ECG acquisition and rhythm printing.
The ELI 280 evaluates ECG signal and noise to determine the best 10 seconds of data recorded and automatically displays the selected data. Best 10 simplifies ECG acquisition by reducing clinical review time and eliminating the need for repeat ECGs.
Bidirectional communication via LAN or wireless LAN enables connectivity to Mortara’s Pyramis, HeartCentrix, E-Scribe and Athena products, as well as to third party EHR, PACS and CVIS. ELI 280 also communicates to Mortara’s ECG Safe, a cloud-based service that provides an easy, effective way to store ECGs for convenient viewing and file management from anywhere.

Convenient Patient Access
Equivalent in size and weight to a conventional wired patient cable, the WAM provides freedom of movement for the clinician while acquiring ECG's or during cardiac stress testing.
Easy ECG Acquisition
ECG acquisition can be initiated at the WAM, ELI 280 or cardiac stress testing. The WAM offers ON/OFF, 12-lead ECG acquisition and rhythm printing at the bedside with a simple press of a button. Visual and audible feedback is provided at the WAM.
Small Spaces Are No Obstacle
With the WAM, the ELI 280 no longer needs to be at the patient’s bedside. This is particularly advantageous in critical situations or when the patient is in isolation. When used in cardiac stress testing, the WAM eliminates the need for a tethered cable and helps to enhance both safety and comfort. It also reduces obstacles for clinical personnel as they maneuver around the stress lab.
A dedicated and secure communication signal links the WAM to a single ELI 280 machine or cardiac stress testing system.
Mortara wireless technology features full diagnostic quality ECG with a high definition acquisition rate of 40,000 samples per second, per channel. This increases the accuracy of pacemaker detection. Eliminating the cable also reduces artifacts which result in higher quality ECG tracings.
Efficient Power Management
Under typical usage, the battery operated WAM can acquire 250 resting ECGs. Advanced power management automatically turns WAM off.
